2015 Day Trip - New York To Paris and Back Home

The Sportster hasn’t been out much this year due to the early torrential rains and then a list of must do’s that have taken precedence.  So a significant trip was in order and I decided to ride from New York to Paris and back.

Of course it would only make sense that I ride on the hottest day of the year to date :-(   However, the sun screen worked well and the sportster’s passenger enjoyed the ride very much :-)

Some folks told me that there is no way to ride a motorcycle from home to Paris and back without crossing the Atlantic.  I didn't understand why that would be an issue.  I was able to do it in one day with no problems.

I did pass through Athens but in reading the news I know that there are many issues with the euro availability and economic restrictions so I didn’t stop there.  Somehow, I envisioned the population to be larger.  Do you suppose there is more than one Athens?

Below are pictures of the famous New York Baptist Church and the famous New York Cemetery:

The roads less traveled were taken to get to Paris.  Below is a picture of the famous Eiffel Tower (do not confuse this with the Tour Eiffel):
