The Sportster hasn’t been out much this year due to the
early torrential rains and then a list of must do’s that have taken precedence. So a significant trip was in order and I
decided to ride from New York to Paris and back.
Of course it would only make sense that I ride on the
hottest day of the year to date :-( However,
the sun screen worked well and the sportster’s passenger enjoyed the ride very
much :-)
Some folks told me that there is no way to ride a motorcycle from home to Paris and back without crossing the Atlantic. I didn't understand why that would be an issue. I was able to do it in one day with no problems.
I did pass through Athens but in reading the news I know that there are many issues with the euro availability and economic restrictions so I didn’t stop there. Somehow, I envisioned the population to be larger. Do you suppose there is more than one Athens?
